Note: In older versions of Asset Bank 'folders' were called 'access levels'

My user cannot see an asset (digital file, image, etc. ) - why is that?

They probably do not have permission to do so:

1) Check folders - do they have at least view permission for this asset?
Admin > Groups (they are a member of) > Folders

2) Check attribute exclusions - are they excluded from seeing this asset because of the value of a drop down or checklist?
Admin > Groups (they are a member of) > Attribute exclusions
