Can I include any extra information in the emails that notify users that they have assets to approve?

As of version 3.1545 an admin user can add a couple of extra fields to the 'admin alert upload approvals' email template to give approvers extra information if required:

  • #assetIds# - a list of the ids of the assets that require approval
  • #assetFilenames# - a list of the original filenames of the assets that require approval
To add the extra fields, login as an admin user then go to Admin > Content > Email Templates and click [edit] next to the 'admin alert upload approvals' email template.
