Reliably Hosted Digital Asset Management
Asset Bank can be hosted on your own servers or can be hosted with us. If you host with us we have offer two options:
Shared Hosting with original Assets Stored in the Cloud
Asset Bank uses Amazon S3 or Rackspace Cloud Files to store original asset files. Cloud Storage benefits from high reliability (all data is replicated over various data-centres), simple scalability (you are not locked into a server with space limitations) and cost effectiveness (typically lower price than other storage solutions). With this model you start off paying for the space you use and we will notify you when you move into the next pricing tier. There is no upper limit to the number of files you can store.

Note, all preview files generated by Asset Bank will remain on the local server to ensure the site remains highly responsive when browsing or searching. The original asset files in Cloud Storage are backed up to Amazon Glacier every night.
All of our servers are remotely monitored for the availability of key services, including the web server and database. This means that in the unusual case of your Asset Bank becoming unavailable, we will probably have it back up-and-running before you even call us.
For each server, all files required to fully restore each website are mirrored nightly to our backup server. Each week a snapshot of each site is taken off-site for added security, so you can be confident your valuable assets are safe and secure 24/7.
Hosting on a Dedicated Server
We understand that some client's want to host their Asset Bank on a dedicated server (e.g. for additional security). We partner with Rackspace to provide fully backed up, dedicated physical or virtual servers ‚which we fully manage for you.
