Asset Bank : High Performing Digital Asset Manager

Asset Bank is a proven, fully scalable digital asset manager, capable of storing high volumes of assets and dealing with many concurrently logged in users.

Asset Bank is written in Java, and runs on a J2EE-compliant application server. The Java image library can be installed on a Windows, Linux or Unix server. It works with popular relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.

Now if that makes no sense, don't worry. All you need to know is that we've put our expertise to work, creating great software that will work for you, whether you're technical or not.

System Requirements

Operating System

  • Image Library for Windows
Asset Bank will run on any Windows Operating System from Windows 95 upwards. However, for maximum performance we recommend Windows 2000, XP or one of the Windows Servers (e.g. 2000 Server or 2003 Server).
  • Image Library for Linux
Asset Bank will run on any Linux or Unix Operating System that supports Java and on which ImageMagick can be installed.

Memory

Although Asset Bank will run fine with less, for performance reasons we recommend that the server has at least 2GB of RAM.

As image manipulations are memory intensive you will see significant performance increases if you add more RAM. For heavily used Asset Banks we suggest 4GB or more - after all, memory is pretty cheap these days!

Disk Capacity

Your server needs to have enough free disk space to store all of the images/documents that you intend to add to your repository.
