Can the filename be used in the metadata?
The first thing you need to do is specify which of the metadata fields (‘attributes‘) you want to have as the ‘name‘ of the asset. This is also the field that is then shown on reports etc. To do this, login as an admin user (or ask an admin user to do this for you) go to Admin->Attributes->Display Attributes, go to the section ‘Name Attribute‘ towards the bottom of the page and select the attribute you want (for example, ‘Title‘) and click ‘Set as name‘. Then, when performing a ‘bulk upload‘, click the checkbox ‘Populate name with filename‘ on the page where you enter the metadata.
