This page allows you to compose a marketing email. The email will be sent to any addresses you enter here, plus all the email addresses of the users selected in the previous page. These addresses will replace a #recipients# variable that appears in any of the address fields, so ensure that this variable is not removed completely. Note that emails are sent individually, so the selected users will not be able to see each other's email addresses.

If this email is being sent from the lightbox page, a url will be shown that can be pasted somewhere into the body of the email. It may be necessary to edit the domain of the url if you are not currently accessing the application in the same way as receiving users would (for instance if you're connecting through a tcp/ip port other than 80). Note that this url can be used as the href for a link in the email rather than being pasted in directly. Also note that this url cannot be used in the subject of the email.

In order to personalise the email, the variables #forename#, #surname#, #title# and #username# are available for use in the body of the email - simply insert these values where they are needed. When the email is sent these values will be replaced with the actual data for the user, or will be removed if the data is not present.

Clicking Preview will allow the email to be previewed before it is sent.
