Configuration options to match your needs

Stores any file

A range of upload and import options makes getting your assets into Asset Bank quick and easy

Screen Uploader

Powerful upload interface

Asset Bank allows you to upload files one at a time or in bulk. The Bulk Upload feature enables you to upload a set of assets, specify metadata that is common for them all (e.g. some keywords and the category they should appear in), and then optionally step through them one-by-one to add additional pieces of metadata that is unique to each.

Upload any file

Asset Bank will cope with any kind of file you throw at it, for example:

  • Images - jpg, giff, bmp, png, psd (Photoshop), ai (Illustrator), etc.
  • Videos - wmv, mpg, mpg-4, mov, etc.
  • Audio - mp3, wav, etc.
  • Documents - pdf, doc, docx (Word), xls, xlsx (Excel), ppt, pptx (PowerPoint), zip, etc.

Importing metadata

If you already have metadata for assets (e.g. if you are migrating from an existing system) then you can upload this as a text file. Asset Bank will then use the unique file-name as a key to connect the data to the right asset.

Extract embedded metadata

Asset Bank allows you to map internal asset fields such as IPTC and XMP into attributes at point of upload and/or download. Allowing you to display this information in Asset Bank, or embed new values when downloading.

Upload via Watch Directory

You can configure Asset Bank to monitor a folder on a network drive. Any assets dropped into this folder will be automatically ingested when it is next scanned for content (this can be every hour or every evening for example).

Importing Categories

You can easily upload a category structure from a text file. Alternatively, if you already have a folder structure containing assets, you can upload this all at once and Asset Bank will create categories to match, placing assets into the correct folder.

FTP Upload

As an alternative to the standard Bulk Upload method, Asset Bank allows upload via an FTP client. This is especially useful when other methods are not feasible, for example, when uploading assets in areas of low bandwidth.
